ventional gas. In order to help complete this chapter, it was agreed that members from Russia will write a section about recent technologies to explore and produce in the Arctic; members from China will write about tight gas technologies; and members from Malaysia will write about technologies to explore and produce natural gas that contains high levels of CO2. Furthermore, Creties Jenkins, Vice President of DeGolyer and MacNaughton was asked to write a section about shale gas. He was also invited to present a paper based on his extensive knowledge and experience of unconventional gas in the USA.
