Ischgl Cable car museum

The cable car museum is located right at the entrance to the village tunnel, right in the centre of the town . Ischgl’s rise to become one of the most successful skiing areas in Austria is inextricably linked to the cable car . Guests can now head on a journey through time into the pioneering era of Silvrettaseilbahn AG . Quite a lot of objects and equipment from the pioneering era of tourism, for instance a gondola from the 1960s, old skis, shoes, rescue and mountain technique machinery and much more are on show .
