The Cafe Nouveau increase the aesthetic of a square in Peregian Beach. The place needed a new cafe where people could meet and relax. The Peregian Beach people needed a place to gather, a place to increase the sense of community. The geometrical furniture and materials create

a dynamic and modern place offering different seating types and an area open on the outside. This project introduces me to the Australian design and different standards. The use of simple material and colors increase the dynasmism required in the brief.

CAPRICE Modular Unit Storage Brisbane / 2012

Collaborative Project - Caprice is a modular storage unit created around pencils. Using the smart idea of using pencils to hold the hexagons together, Caprice is indefinitly interchangeable and can be used as a room divider. Displayed at the Qut Furniture Studies Exhibition and later at the

Queensland Museum, the project has been famous for it innovation and smart concept. It has been all built from plywood sheets for the Furniture Studies course. As we were six students to build the piece of furniture, it allowed me to improve team work and time management skills.

ELDERLY CENTRE Collaborative Project Montreal / 2009 Autocad + 3DS Max

The center represents the community of elderly people, created to increase their independence, autonomy and selfconfidence. The existing building in which the project was designed had a good exposure to sun and natural light but it was poorly used. Therefore, we opened a part of the space by creating a patio and conservatories. The central space is modular and promote the relationship between users of the center.

This project developped my knowledges in terms of Health Facilities Design requierements and North American standards.
