Strategy Conclusion We choose these three suppliers as they fit perfectly with our values and work ethic. All of them focus on sustainability while providing high quality materials that are also organic and eco-friendly. Moreover, they put great importance into treating their employees righteously and fairly. These 3 factories will be providing us with the materials necessary in order to produce our garments such as bamboo fabrics and organic cotton. Consumer demands are increasing at a high rate. Businesses are looking to adopt new practices to fulfill the consumer needs, in this case such as becoming sustainable and being social responsibility, driving impactful changes in the manufacturing sector. Competition, globalization and volatile costs of raw materials have resulted in the significant growth of low cost country sourcing. The countries that are considered ideal for low cost sourcing opportunities include South East Asia, Eastern Europe, India, Mexico and Turkey. We had very specific characteristics that we were looking for in factories and we believe the ones we choose fit our standards of production and ethical work practices. In terms of materials, our suppliers provide the fabrics we were looking for, both organic cotton and bamboo fibers. The ethical standards carried out in these factories are fair to the employees as they receive above the minimum wage and in some cases are protected by several different worker’ s associations. All of them have previously manufactured athleisure product for other well know brands so we would be benefiting from these expertise.

Conclusion All of these countries offer a great location and lead time to the US. They are known for their good labor force, and the importance of the textile and product development industry. Their cost are good because they are low (good for the company) but they still have the government control in terms of wages and employee standards, which makes Cendres' proud of assuring they are living good standards and care about their partnerships. Moreover, all of these countries offer some kind of sustainable environment by offering suppliers that use organic and raw material.

It aligns with our values It is of great importance to us that all factories associated with Cendres carry our same mission statement and core values. For this reason we wanted to make sure that all of our suppliers place great importance on sourcing materials, quality of production and sustainability. Although our lead times would be more timely due to freight times, this would be taken into account when planning out time and action calendars and we believe it won’ t be damaging our overall margins as we will be gaining qualities in other important factors.

It maximizes our quality All of our suppliers meet high sustainability standards and have the technology to develop and product our products. They all meet their code of conducts, care about their employees and about the products that they sell to other customers. Their customers such as Patagonia, are known to be not only sustainable, but high quality and well made so it positions us in the same level. Moreover, these suppliers prove to be of high quality with their certifications and partnerships.

Minimizes risks and maximizes opportunities Choosing stable countries that offer all of the necessary supplies without outsourcing greatly reduces risk. Because we selected well-known suppliers with a good reputation we can guarantee that the workers and our garments will be treated will, eliminating additional risks, creating the best outcome and opportunities for us as is possible.

We are proud to tell were our products come from Our final choices are a clear representation of what Cendres stand for as a brand and for that reason we are proud to be sourcing from countries that place the same importance to moral values as we do.
