Peter was a former pupil of Irlam High School and was enormously talented – not only in drama, a field in which he earned his living, but also in the visual arts. He was funny, quirky, a brilliant creator of characters, and he could also move you to tears with the depth of his performance and it is fitting that this award is made in his name. This years winner 16 year old Thomas Derbyshire from Old River Close, Irlam, will now be going on to study acting at Pendleton College.
