Welcome IRHACE Members This booklet provides you details on what your IRHACE membership includes and what benefits and privileges are attributed to Member and Associate.
Industry (Member& Associate)
Our People IRHACE members are regularly featured in the Our People section of the Industry Journal.
IRHACE Members holding either M.IRHACE, LM.IRHACE, F.IRHACE, RM.IRHACE, RF.IRHACE or Associate category receive the industry benefits package.
Hold Office and vote Member and Associate categories can be nominated to hold office at either branch or national level. As members they are entitled to vote at the annual IRHACE Annual General Meeting.
Access to Technical Papers and Articles Canterbury and Wellington regional events.
Industry Journal IRHACE Members may also provide content and articles for the Industry Journal. Technical papers and articles via our Support Network are provided to IRHACE Members. IIR:NZNC is a country member with IIR. This provides our members with free sign up to the IIR FREE DOC database that holds publications. IRHACE is a corporate member of IIR.
Advocates and Code of Conduct IRHACE Members are required to follow the Code of Conduct. As a support network, IRHACE maintains several Advocates who may be approached by Members on a confidential basis for advice on how to deal with situations encompassing concerns related to the Code of Conduct. Members who observe another member behaving in a manner outside the code may also choose to approach an Advocate for advice.

Branch (Member& Associate) Each IRHACE Member is part of the branch network and is aligned as per their geographical location. There are eight branches located throughout New Zealand: Auckland/Northland, Waikato/Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay/Poverty Bay, Manawatu, Wellington, Nelson/Marlborough, Canterbury/Westland and Otago/Southland. Branches run varying activities throughout the year ranging from trade nights, technical tours, social events and online forums. Branch activities Access to member events such as trade nights, technical tours and social events such as golf tournaments, go karting, 10 pin bowling and fishing days.

Being part of an organization that sets you apart from others and gives back to the industry. Each branch is run by a local committee.
Awards & Competitions
Service and Committee awards Regional competitions are organized, resourced and held by each branch for the Wallie Askew.
Milestones (Member) IRHACE Members (M.IRHACE) may be eligible for re-grading to the status of Fellow, F.IRHACE. A fellow member has achieved eminence in the industry and is actively employed in the industry. The IRHACE Council may confer Life membership on a member (M.IRHACE) who has completed not less than 20 years of service as a subscribing member of the Society and who in the opinion of the Council has made an outstanding contribution to the Society. Associate members may apply for re-grading to M.IRHACE status on their anniversary start date. Membership milestones are celebrated at the anniversary of the members start date for the following years:

Promotion (Member) IRHACE members are given the opportunity to promote themselves through various activities. It should be noted that the use of the IRHACE logo is not permitted. The member category is granted use of post nominal letters i.e., M.IRHACE. SME

Activities Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are able to provide technical education for IRHACE members on their specialized subject via our webinar series * IRHACE members are provided with access to the Industry Directory. This is currently being built with the upgraded website for IRHACE and is due in the second half of the year * IRHACE members that are admitted by the Society are able to utilize post nominal letters after their name. This applies to: M.IRHACE – M.IRHACE by qualification or experience F.IRHACE – M.IRHACE who has been re-graded to Fellow status LM.IRHACE – M.IRHACE member who has been awarded life membership RM.IRHACE – M.IRHACE who remains in the society as a retired member RF.IRHACE – M.IRHACE who remains in the society as a Fellow retired member Creditability is, in a way, a higher bar than success. It means others look at you as a reliable resource and decision maker. It allows those who rely on you to know they can count on you, trust you, do business with you, and align with you. IRHACE Council nominates M.IRHACE members to go onto various boards, committees and groups as an IRHACE representative i.e., Standards NZ.

Technical Education (Member& Associate) IRHACE members (M.IRHACE and Associate) are provided many opportunities to participant in the technical education programme provided by the Society. These may include webinars, access to publications, eLearning and resources. The IRHACE CPD programme was launched in March 2022 and is based on 1 hour of technical education equals 1 CPD point.
