Rockchapel’s 5k A Quick Success!
The inaugural Rockchapel 5k took place on Friday 15th of September with 62 athletes taking part. Thomas Kiely (North Cork A.C)won the men’s race in 16:28, Killian Lynch (West Limerick A.C) in second - 16:38, and 3rd place went to Johnny O’Sullivan Granage (Fermoy A.C 17:52). The ladies Winner was Emma Flynn (North Cork A.C) in 18:33, with her sister Michaela coming second in 19:11, and Siobhan Daly (An Ríocht A.C) third in 19:37. Some blistering times set for a course described by participants as fast.
