Huge Turnout To Praise Dromtariffe GAA

Attending the launch to celebrate and purchase the book were Patsy Barry, Donal Barry and Mick Cremin.

The day finally came to launch Dan Joe O’Keeffe’s fantastic book In Praises of Dromtariffe. On the day, words were given by Michael O’Connell, MC, Sean Feely, Chairman Dromtariffe GAA, Dan Joe O’Keeffe, Mary Browne, Chairperson; Dromtariffe History Committee, Steven Lynch, Chairman; Duhallow GAA. Light refreshments were provided afterwards as well as some great music. Everyone left Dromtariffe Community hall basking in the great history of a great GAA club. Here’s to it’s future. Up Dromtariffe!!!

Special presentations were made to John Tarrant, who launched the book, and Dan Joe’s daughter, Maria Buckley, for their contribution in the books production.

Dan Joe even signed copies of the book for many of the locals on the day.
