New Beginnings, New Chapter at Dromagh N.S.

The first month of the academic year 2024-2025 has passed very fast at Dromagh National School. We welcomed back all our pupils, at the start of this new school year. A special welcome to the Junior Infants. We hope you will be very happy in Dromagh N.S.

Our 5th and 6th classes visited Scoil Mhuire, Kanturk for an activity day. The children experienced lots of fun practical games and interacted with staff and students of the post -primary school. Many thanks to Scoil Mhuire for such a lovely opportunity.

We celebrated Heritage Day with Anthony Galvin, a full time Children’s Entertainer and author of many books. He came all dressed up as a Pirate and told many children stories to set the spark for a love of our Irish heritage. A wonderful experience.

Congratulations and well done to all our students who participated in the Hope Primary School Table quiz held in Banteer Community Center on September 27th. Our 2nd class students took 1st prize in the 1st to 3rd class category. Well done to Tara, Cody and Paul!
