Community Meeting Called In Dromtarriffe

A public meeting will be held in Dromtarriffe Parish Hall on Wednesday night 7th February 2024 @ 7.30pm

This is a very important meeting regarding the security and safety of the people of Dromtarriffe and all the surrounding hinterlands. Everyone is most welcome to attend, from any area in Duhallow if you so wish.

Loneliness and isolation, and many other topics concerning the welfare and comforts of the elderly and our most vulnerable family, friends, and neighbours will be a key part of the meeting Remember we are all in this together.

Garda Kathryn Canty, our Liaison Officer, and other members of An Garda Siochana will be in attendance. They will guide and encouraged us to be proactive, help us to get organized and up to speed with modern technical devices that are becoming more readily available

every week, send us regular text messages and advice on any criminal activities in this division, and all around the neighbouring parishes. They will advise us and make us aware of what is happening behind the scenes. Their aim is to have us forewarned of the major scams going on out there and hopefully before they hit our own area.

This your chance to be a valid member of the community. Remember the young able-bodied man or woman of today is the old and most vulnerable person of tomorrow.
