Boherbue Blooms

Boherbue Tidy Towns in conjunction with Boherbue Comprehensive School planted up to 1500 pollinator friendly bulbs at the biodiversity garden in Boherbue. This was done with the assistance of over 20 Transition Year students from the school. The bulbs were a mix of daffodils, iris, alliums, Crocus, and Anemones.

All bulbs planted are hardy perennials which will naturalize to the area for years to come. Huge thanks to all who got the work done.

Boherbue Tidy Towns volunteers continue to enhance Boherbue village and won the overall Pride of County Cork Award 2023 in the Muintir Na Tíre competition.
