Kanturk and District Community Council and Tina Dunstan of Cherryblossoms Childcare are delighted to announce the NOVEMBER PERSON OF THE MONTH AWARD: Nora Daly

Nora started The Kanturk GROW group 30 years ago. Grow is a 12 step confidential support programme coping with anxiety, loneliness, depression or any mental health issue in their lives. Under Nora’s leadership the group has gone from strength to strength. Congratulations Nora.

Penny dinners Annual Christmas collection takes place this Saturday the 2nd of December from 11am to 1pm at the Temperance Hall, Kanturk. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you The Annual 5k FUN WALK will take place on Stephens day the 26th Dec at 11am from the Temperance Hall and will proceed around Jacko's as per last year. Dogs are welcome and water bowls will be provided. Refreshments will available at the temperance afterwards. Everyone welcome.

The Annual Kanturk Credit Union AGM will take place on Wednesday the 8th of December in the Edel Quinn hall. All members welcome.

Rememberance Tree Now Up

The Kanturk and District Community Council Remembrance tree is now up in the square. Big thanks to Eddie Walsh, Jerry Hickey and John O'Neill for putting it up at the weekend. The ribbons will be available from outside some shops over the coming weeks. The ribbons will be taken to the church on new year's eve where Mass will be said for your intentions.

Kanturk Mens Shed raised €3594.70 in one of their most successful fairs ever.
