Liscarroll Go To The Dogs!

Liscarroll NS will host a Monster Auto Jumble and Dog Show at Charleville Showgrounds, Ballyhea, on Sunday November 5th 2023. Gates open at 9am.

This is always a great family fun day for all, with a display of vintage cars, tractors and trucks on the day which will be of great interest to all vintage enthusiasts.

All are welcome to display their vintage vehicles on the day. Up to fifty stalls will display their gifts and wares at the Autojumble. Hot food, teas and coffee will be served all day from early morning. There will be a full day’s entertainment on the day with country and western music from 11am - 2.30pm with Ger Lahy, Country Music DJ from Tullamore.

Other attractions will include the eagerly awaited Fun Dog Show which will start at 12pm.

Classes include: Golden Oldies(7+), Best Sausage Catcher, Best Young Handler (12 & under), Best Fancy Dress Dog, Most Handsome Boy, Prettiest Lady, Small Dog class, Large Dog class, Sweetest Pup (under 1). There is also a dog agility competition.

Prize rosettes for top three in each class. Other attractions include novelty events, wellington throwing, Minnie & Mickey Mouse, sponge throwing, face painting and monster raffle.
