Reflection for Autumn

The recent Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Mass in St Mary’s Church, Castlemagner attracted a large crowd on October 21st. Each year the community gathers to celebrate the fruits of the harvest, offering them at the very special Annual Harvest Mass. At this time of year, we reflect on the changing colour of the season. The community gathered in the spirit of gratitude to offer thanks for the year ’s fruits and to reflect on the natural changes as we enter into the winter months, with the promise of a new season next year. Sincere thanks to those who sang, read, offered gifts or helped in any way. The below reflection which evokes the beauty of the season was read at the mass.
