Rockchapel Fashion Show Brings Style and Community Together

Rockchapel Parents Association officially kicked off the fashion show season with a vibrant and highly successful event at the Rockchapel Community Centre on Friday, 10th October. Attendees from across Duhallow and surrounding areas gathered for a fun-filled evening of fashion and fundraising.

Over 30 fantastic prizes were up for grabs in the ever-popular monster raffle, adding to the excitement and energy of the night. All donations were greatly appreciated.

Top local boutiques including Lenihan’s Fashions, O’Shea’s Fashions, Lady Lydia, Noirin’s Boutique, Divas and Dudes, East 73rd, and Heavenly Gifts and Interiors showcased their autumn/winter collections.

Stylish menswear from O’Shea’s Fashions—ranging from smart casual to winter coats and occasion wear—also featured prominently on the catwalk.

The event was expertly hosted by Noreen Du Plooy as MC, with Donal O’Connor setting the atmosphere as DJ. Their dynamic presence ensured plenty of laughs and lively banter throughout the evening.

All profits from the fashion show go directly back to benefit the pupils of the small rural Rockchapel National School. The fundraising helps finance school trips, swimming lessons, and educational resources for the children. Every euro raised goes a long way.

Behind the scenes, committee members Maureen Carmody, Treasurer, Elaine Browne, Secretary and Carmel Deely, Chairperson were instrumental in preparations. A special thank-you goes to the parents who set up the venue, sold tickets and generously contributed delicious treats for the tea & coffee reception. which was enjoyed by all in attendance.

This event could not be run without our fabulous models, who bring a stylish flair to the occasion, their hard work is much appreciated by the Parents Association.

The Rockchapel Parents Association extends its heartfelt thanks to all who supported the event and looks forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another unforgettable evening.
