Valericio Leppe
Vivió en el sector de Las Tizas en el camino que une Pencahue y Corinto. Fue cantautor, folclorista y antropólogo, formador del grupo musical Quelentaro y del Dúo Coirón, de los cuales existen registros audiovisuales.
He lived in the area of Las Tizas on the road linking Pencahue and Corinto. He was a songwriter, folklorist and anthropologist, and formed the Quelentaro and the Dúo Coirón bands, of which there are audiovisual recordings.
María Muñoz
Cantora local de Corinto y ganadora de diversos concursos de folclor del adulto Mayor. Corinto local singer and winner of various folklore competitions of the elderly.
Alberto Cumplido
Músico, compositor y escritor de Corinto, nominado a un premio Altazor el año 2000 por su disco Atemporal. Cuenta con cinco
discos grabados y tres libros de poesía editados. Todos los años Alberto organiza el “Festival Internacional Entre Cuerdas” que recorre diversos lugares de la región y el país. Desde el año 2007
la Corporación Cultural de Corinto apoya el desarrollo de las artes, ofreciendo a los artistas, realizadores e interesados, un espacio para actuar y disponer de gestión y servicios. Cada abril la Corporación organiza La Estación de las Artes, un verdadero viaje cultural que invita a la comunidad a participar de actividades, talleres y charlas de danza, música, cine y teatro. También organiza actividades de rescate de patrimonio a través de cuentos y leyendas del Ramal y residencias para artistas que quieran crear e inspirarse en estas tierras. Each April the Corporation organizes the La Estación de las Artes (Arts Station), a true cultural journey that invites the community to interact in activities, workshops and lectures in dance, music, film and theater.
