What's on at Stonham Barns Stonham Barns Leisure & Shopping Village is a bustling family complex filled with an abundance of attractions and activities to suit all, providing a wonderful family day out in the Suffolk Countryside. Great family events are hosted throughout the year in the Showground and Barn. On Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December from 10am until 4pm, Stonham Barns are hosting their annual Christmas Craft Fair. Come along and see what special presents you can buy your friends and family for Christmas. There will be many stalls with hand-made locally produced gifts that you will not generally find on the high street. Plenty of parking, and refreshments are available on site. Small children’s rides, Thomas rides, FREE face painting and live music. The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary which has over 90 different birds of prey, Meerkats in their own ‘Manor’ and red squirrels, will be running their magical ‘Christmas with the Owls’ event with free admission to the centre to enjoy lots of family activities, and a chance to visit Santa Claus himself in his grotto. (£4.00 per person including gift). Every Sunday until November there is the very popular car boot sale. Ideal for antique sellers, loft clearers and one-off sellers. Come along sell your goods or seek out a bargain. If you are coming along to an event or even if you are just planning to visit there is always plenty of to do at Stonham Barns, you will find a fabulous Golf Park which is made up to eight different golfing activities

including Smugglers Bay Adventure Golf, golf simulators, ninehole golf course, footgolf and golf darts. The Teapot Pottery and Tea Room with a wonderful range of beautiful teapots for sale or take the opportunity to paint your own masterpiece and whilst you there try the wide range of speciality teas and coffee and the delicious home-made cakes.

You will find two fully stocked fishing lakes where you could enjoy a relaxing day of fishing or join in the weekly competitions. A shopping village with a convenience store, post office and a wonderful range of unique shops which include clothes, furniture, jewellery, toys, plants, crafts, hot tubs, aquatics, books, garden products, beauty products, sweets, collectables and so much more. The Bistro which serves delicious food seven days a week, try a fabulous breakfast, a great lunch or delicious afternoon cream tea. For the younger ones in your family visit Tumbledown Soft Play Barn or the children’s playzone which has a bouncy pillow, static steam train and seasonal fair rides. This is a ‘dog friendly’ site, but they must be kept on lead. All areas are disabled accessible with designated parking areas. The Regent Theatre opened its doors on Monday 4th November 1929 as a cine-variety hall and has since played host to some of the world’s biggest artists, West End shows and comedians. In the 1970s and 80s it changed its name to the Gaumont and was taken over by Ipswich Borough Council in 1991 after public fears for its future. The “new” Regent opened on 21st September 1991. In 2009 the Royal Philharmonic and Lesley Garrett celebrated the theatre’s 80th birthday with a gala concert.
