n the last few years, the quality requirements in the industrial transformers field have soared. After a decline due to the international crisis, the market is now expanding again and the quality specifications have become more diverse and stringent as regards the finishing, which has to meet both aesthetic and corrosion requirements (Opening photo). The shade of the paint, for example, can be chosen to camouflage the structure in an environment (gray for a desert area, green for a forest area), or to make it stand for safety purposes. Dopo un periodo di flessione dovuto alla crisi internazionale, il mercato è di nuovo in espansione e le specifiche di qualità richieste sono diventate molto più variegate e stringenti per quanto riguarda la finitura, poiché questa deve rispondere a requisiti sia estetici sia di resistenza alla corrosione (rif. foto apertura). La tonalità della vernice, ad esempio, può essere scelta per mimetizzare il manufatto nell’ambiente in cui sarà installato (grigio per una zona desertica; verde per una zona boschiva), oppure per farlo risaltare ai fini della sicurezza.
