urosurfas, the International Paint and Surfaces treatment Fair, provides companies with different business development opportunities by the presentation of the applications, the processes and the products to professional groups. An interesting program of technical days will transform the event in the hub for painting and surfaces treatments. Eurosurfas, which will take place in Pavillion n.6 of the Gran Via fair district, intends to help the sector and to handle the current difficult market situation by showing many industrial sectors, the benefits that the new technologies can bring to the products displayed at the Fair. The president of the Fair, José Luis Diloy, thinks that “the sector has to face up to a realignment process and Eurosurfas will be the inflection point”. According to Diloy, this atomization prevents the sector from being “competitive and being able to access external markets”. Also, the Fair, that counts on the support of the main sector associations, presents an interesting technical days program during which the most important themes will be handled. Among these, the most important ones are the events organized by the Industrial and Finish Surfaces Associations (AIAS) that are concerned with the latest trends in the treatment of surface coverings; the VII Congress Eurocar organized by Eurosurfas and the VII Wellfare Technical Events will handle the treatment and water recycle theme. There will also be another appointment about the anticorrosive protection organized by the Technical Institute of Preparation and Surfaces Treatments (ITPTS) in collaboration with the Spanish Painting Technicians Association (AETEPA). Eurosurfas will take place together with Expoquimia and Equiplast and will form part of the various events that celebrate the 2011 International Chemical Year. Inoltre sarà presente un interessante programma di giornate tecniche che renderà l’evento l’indiscusso protagonista e centro di attività del settore della pittura e del trattamento delle superfici. Eurosurfas, che si svolgerà nel padiglione 6 del quartiere fieristico di Gran Via, intende aiutare il settore e far fronte al complesso momento attuale mostrando a più settori industriali i benefici che le nuove tecnologie possono apportare ai prodotti che si esibiscono nel salone. Il presidente del salone, José Luis Diloy, afferma che “il settore deve far fronte a un processo di riallineamento ed Eurosurfas sarà il punto di inflessione”. Secondo Diloy, questa atomizzazione impedisce al settore di essere “competitivo e di accedere ai mercati esteri”. Inoltre il salone, che conta sull’appoggio delle principali associazioni di settore, presenta un interessante programma di giornate tecniche durante le quali si affronteranno le questioni più importanti che influenzano il mercato. Tra queste, quelle più rilevanti sono le giornate organizzate dalle Associazioni di Industriali e Finiture di Superfici (AIAS) riguardo alle ultime tendenze nel trattamento e copertura delle superfici, il VII Congresso Eurocar organizzato da Eurosurfas e le VII Giornate Tecniche sull’Ambiente nelle quali verrà trattato il tema del trattamento e del riciclo delle acque. Ulteriore appuntamento è rappresentato dalla giornata riguardo la protezione anticorrosiva organizzata dall’Istituto Tecnico di Preparazione e Trattamento delle Superfici (ITPTS) in collaborazione con l’Associazione Spagnola dei Tecnici di Pittura e Similari (AETEPA). Eurosurfas si terrà congiuntamente a Expoquimia e Equiplast unendosi in questo modo, ai vari atti di commemorazione dell’Anno Internazionale della Chimica che si sta celebrando nel corso del 2011.
