The evolution of the cabin The importance of spray nozzles is of course fundamental, but what is truly important for the system is the discs/booth assembly. For this reason, the overall system study deals with the entire project, while the electronic technicians concentrate on the disc. The air processing section was developed by another team. The first painting booths had very large dimensions and recovery of overspray was carried out through the use of vertical conduits in special shapes attached to the cyclone, which in turn connected to an end filter. L’evoluzione della cabina L’importanza degli erogatori è naturalmente fondamentale, ma quello che qualifica veramente l’impianto è l’insieme dischi/cabina. Per questa ragione lo studio avvenne nel suo insieme e così, mentre i tecnici elettronici badavano al disco, la parte aeraulica era sviluppata da un altro team. Le prime cabine erano di dimensioni molto importanti ed il recupero dell’overspray veniva effettuato tramite condotte verticali di conformazione particolare ed allacciate a cicloni a loro volta collegati ad un filtro finale. La polvere cadeva sul fondo cabina e, tramite un sistema di vibrazione, ritornava direttamente al serbatoio di rilancio dove arrivava anche la polvere recuperata dai cicloni posti sull’aspirazione.
