ntroduzione Worthington Cylinders GmbH, a subsidiary of the US firm Worthington Industries Company, produces gas and oxygen cylinders for the international market on a large scale in Kienberg in Lower Austria. The plant supplied by EISENMANN and taken into service in autumn 2009 ensures all-automatic coating of the parts manufactured in a vast variety of sizes and customized colors. The article describes the overall powder coating plant and its special features on the basis of the logistic process (fig. 1, next page). EISENMANN’s scope of

ntroduction La Worthington Cylinders GmbH, una filiale della statunitense Worthington Industries Company, produce a Kienberg, nella bassa Austria, bombole per gas e ossigeno su vasta scala destinate al mercato internazionale. Il presente articolo descrive nel suo complesso l’impianto di verniciatura a polvere e le sue caratteristiche peculiari dal punto di vista della gestione logistica (fig. 1, pagina seguente). L’impianto, fornito da Eisenmann ed entrato in funzione nell’autunno del 2009, garantisce la verniciatura automatica dei manufatti in una vasta gamma di dimensioni e colori su misura per il cliente.
