Refreshed by the lightness of summer holidays, we start again with more strength and new good ideas.

uly and August are the months par excellence for relaxing and recharging our batteries. Not only because, this year more than ever,

we deserve a break but also because rebooting the brain promotes positive thinking and the creation of good, new ideas. This is the spirit with which we published the summer issue of ipcm®, which offered several technological, process, management and product ideas that aim at stimulating new ideas and provide a positive framework, clearly showing the European industry’s industriousness and dynamism. Positivity is also the word that is accompanying the definition of the various projects set to take place during the latter part of the year and in 2021. We are aware that many projects have faded we had to review several plans ourselves - and that the news is often far from reassuring.

However, we firmly believe in the need to start anew. And starting anew does not mean waiting for an opportunity to materialize out of thin air but instead creating new ones, actively looking for them with a responsible and attentive attitude to the current situation but with a proactive approach, as well. So, although we still cannot go into the details of what’s in store, one thing remains certain: our commitment to keep providing the sector with new, cutting-edge platforms that can be exploited to communicate effectively with the industry. And speaking of technical knowledge, in July we
