er il settore verniciatura e con lo scopo di proporre filtri sempre più performanti sia in termini di potere di accumulo vernice che di riduzione dei costi di manutenzione, i tecnici di Defil, azienda che dal 1985 progetta, produce e commercializza filtri per la depurazione e la depolverazione dell’aria nei processi industriali, hanno individuato una nuova tipologia di filtro chiamato Max Paint Filter (figg. 1 e 2) che garantisce prestazioni migliori rispetto ai comuni filtri utilizzati attualmente in verniciatura liquido (fibra di vetro Andreae , Columbus ecc). In collaborazione con il produttore, Defil ha ricercato, studiato e approfondito le caratteristiche del prodotto per aumentarne ulteriormente le prestazioni. Il materassino alveolare Max Paint Filter unisce massima efficienza a massimo accumulo di vernice. Può essere utilizzato sia nelle cabine di verniciatura verticali che in quelle pressurizzate ed è adatto a tutti i tipi di vernice liquida (base solvente o acqua). L’esclusivo design alveolare, permette di trattenere altissime quantità di overspray di vernice, abbattendo così i costi di smaltimento e di manutenzione. Grazie a queste caratteristiche, Max Paint Filter può sostituire sistemi di filtrazione a doppio strato (fibra di vetro + fibra sintetica, maglia di carta + fibra di vetro, cartone pieghettato + fibra di vetro, maglia di carta oppure cartone pieghettato + celle in fibra di vetro o sintetiche). Su molti impianti e con molti prodotti vernicianti, Max Paint Filter mostra una durata notevolmente superiore a quella dei filtri per vernice più diffusi. La maggior durata permette di ridurre la frequenza del cambio filtri e le ore dedicate alla manutenzione della cabina, alla movimentazione dei filtri e al loro smaltimento, con considerevole riduzione dei costi di gestione. Laboratori indipendenti confermano che il Max Paint Filter riesce a catturare particelle con diametri da 20 micron fino a 2,5 micron.

ith the aim of offering filters for the coating industry that are increasingly efficient in terms of both paint retention and reduction of maintenance costs, engineers at Defil (a company that designs, produces and sells filters for air purification and dedusting in industrial processes since 1985) have developed a new type of filter called Max Paint Filter (Figs. 1 and 2), which provides better performance than the conventional filters currently used in liquid coating processes (Andreae glass fibre filters, Columbus filters, etc). Defil has researched, analysed and studied the characteristics of the product in collaboration with its manufacturer to further increase its performance. Max Paint Filter is a cellular filter that combines maximum efficiency with maximum coating retention. It can be used in both vertical and pressurised spray booths and is suitable for all types of liquid paint (solvent or water-based). Its unique cellular design enables it to retain high amounts of paint overspray, thus reducing disposal and maintenance costs. Thanks to these characteristics, Max Paint Filter can replace any two-layer filtration system (glass fibre + synthetic fibre, paper mesh + glass fibre, corrugated paperboard + glass fibre, paper mesh or corrugated paperboard + glass or synthetic fibre cells). In many systems and with many coating products, Max Paint Filter shows a significantly higher service life than the most common coating filters. This enables to reduce the frequency of changing filters and the hours devoted to the maintenance of the booth as well as to the handling and disposal of filters, with a considerable reduction of the operating costs. Independent laboratories have confirmed that Max Paint Filter can capture particles with diameters from 20 to 2.5 microns.
