2021 Iowa PGA Awards Sales Rep/Teacher of the Year

Sales Representative of the Year Allan Miller, PGA Tour Edge Golf Allan Miller of Tour Edge Golf has been named the 2021 Iowa PGA Sales Representative of the Year.

Miller was quoted as saying, “To win the Iowa PGA Sales Representative of the Year Award is an incredible honor. I am thankful for the opportunity Tour Edge has provided to allow me to work alongside our Iowa PGA Professionals. Their support of me is truly a blessing.”

Sales Representative of the Year Award

This honor is based on the vendor’s entire record. This is the highest honor paid to a Sales Representative. The award is based on the following attributes, strengths in service and communication, contributions made to nominee’s company’s success, contributions to the game of golf at the section level, size and success of nominee’s line, sales call rotation and customer interaction and previous awards or community involvement.

Teacher of the Year Mark Egly, PGA Des Moines Driving Range

Mark Egly of Des Moines Driving Range has been named the 2021 Teacher of the Year by the Iowa PGA.

Mark has provided free lessons to many groups, such as the Men’s and Women’s college and university programs of the area and around Iowa, and countless high school teams from across the State of Iowa. Mark has facilitated The First Tee of Central Iowa since 1998.

Teacher of the Year Award

This honor is based on a professional’s entire record achievements over their career. The award is determined based off the nominee’s overall impact in teaching at nominee’s facility, unusual, innovative, or special teaching programs initiated or implemented, instructional articles, videos or publications written or produced, list of outstanding golfers whom the nominee has instructed, involvement in junior golf activities and in the community and innovative contributions.
