Police reports Three arrested on warrants Iola police officers spotted Lauren Heslop, who was wanted on an arrest warrant, exiting a house at 705 S. Washington Ave. Monday morning, when Heslop re-entered the residence. Officers requested, and received, a search warrant to enter the home, where they found John Glukowsky, who also was wanted on an arrest warrant. He was taken into custody, as was Heslop, who was found hiding elsewhere in the home. John Glukowsky’s son, Jason Glukowsky, was spotted hiding outside the home. He, too, was wanted on an arrest warrant and was taken into custody.

On Thursday, Riley Ridout, 53, Iola, was arrested for allegedly driving while suspended during a traffic stop in the 2300 block of North Cottonwood Street. A passenger in the vehicle, Lori Stryker, 54, Iola, was arrested for allegedly transporting an open container of alcohol.
Gunshots fired Iola police were called
to the 600 block of South Sycamore Street Saturday evening after a resident there reported hearing what they believed to be gunshots. Officers arrived at the scene to hear what they also described as gunfire, just as another resident phoned authorities hearing the noise. Two shell casings were discovered in the driveway of a residence at 624 S. Sycamore Street, and two subjects were questioned. Charges are pending, officers said.
Charges requested Iola police officers were called to a disturbance Friday afternoon in the 500 block of South Kentucky Street. Charges are being requested against a subject, whose name was not released, for aggravated assault and domestic battery. In a separate incident Thursday, police were told about a protection from abuse order being violated in the 400 block of North Street. A suspect has been identified. Charges are being requested through the Allen County District Court.
Items seized Iola police officers executed a search warrant Friday in the 200 block of North Fourth Street. They seized what they described as “numerous items of illegal paraphernalia.”
