When outdated drivers are found, you'll get into the new screen:
All your drivers are classified into Outdated & UpToDate ones for your convenience to check. And there are 2 following catogories according to their functions. Device Drivers: Include graphic card, audio card, chipset, wireless and Bluetooth device drivers, etc. Game Components: Provide games with necessary support, effect enhancement and performance tuning. Click the Gear icon, the Scan Settings window will open and you can choose whether to Scan updates for Game Components or not. Update All: Click this red button to update drivers for all devices. When you just tick the parts of drivers you want to update, you will see Update Selected instead. Update: Click this button to update drivers for each device one by one. Click the drop down arrow next to Update to display a list of subordinate menu as shown below. Details: Clicking this text link pops up the driver details window as below. You can also get this window by clicking the type text link, like System devices, Computer and Processors, or right clicking the column.

Roll Back: Click it to revert this driver to the preivous version. Uninstall: Click it to uninstall this driver. But we don't suggest that you uninstall any drivers in case of related devices malfunction. Ignore: Click it to ignore the selected device which will not be scanned for driver updates until you remove it from the Ignored list in Settings. Export List: Click it to export all your outdated drivers or uptodate drivers.

Installation Tips: Here are 3 cases you may encounter when updating drivers. Please do not panic and just follow the tips.
Update Process: Generally, there are 3 stages for driver udpate: create a restore point, download drivers, and install drivers. In the doadnlowd stage we adopt the breakpoint resume technology. It

Driver Booster V2 Quick Start Guide means you can stop it anytime in this stage and it will continue the download next time instead of starting over again. It may take minutes to complete update according to the driver size and the current download speed. You can minimize it to the system tray and work on your other stuff. Silent Installation: To save your time and work, we work out the Silent Installation mode, with which is enabled, Driver Booster will download and install drivers in background silently. It will not bother you with annoying pop-ups, or any kind of dialog boxes. Or please do not tick this option under the process bar or in Settings if you want to install drivers manually. Automatically reboot PC: Tick it to reboot your PC automatically after updating drivers. Automatically shut down PC: Click it to shut down your PC automatically after updating drivers.
Reboot: When the driver install stage completes, you may be asked to reboot PC for the updates to take effect, depending on the drivers you updated.

Rescue Center Restore Screen
To avoid any possible troubles caused by updating drivers, Driver Booster will create a restore point before you install an updated driver. Thus you can restore your PC to a previous good state when something unexpected happens. Note: Restoring your computer to a previous restore point will undo all changes made after that restore point.
Backups Screen
This feature is only available in PRO edition. After backing up the current version of drivers, you can reinstall them conveniently anytime when you want to use this version without restoring the whole system. And you can also easily restore every single backup driver to the previous version by clicking Restore text link. At the bottom left, there are two text links to Modify Backup Folder and Explore Backup Folder. Note: The backup files cannot be used on other computers because system environments vary.

Configure Settings To make Driver Booster most convenient and suitable for you, you need to configure the settings per your need.
General: Here you can choose to tick/untick the option Launch automatically at Windows startup and Minimize to system tray when program is closed. You can also set the UI language, font size, skin and transparency as per your preference. Recommended: In each settings windows, you will find a Recommended button at the bottom left. It can change your configurations to the default settings, and it will be useful when you apply some wrong configurations or forget the original settings.
Scan: Here you can specify how Driver Booster scans your PC: Scan automatically when program is launched, Scan at a fixed frequency and set how frequency you want to scan, Automatically scan newly connected devices, and Scan updates for Game Components. Though all of our driver updates are downloaded from the official websites, you can choose to Only display drivers that pass WHQL tests to ensure safety.

Drivers: Here you can specify the directory to save driver installers and other three options are: whether to Automatically create a restore point before a driver is installed, Automatically delete installed driver installers, and Silent Installation.
Ignored: Here lists the devices that you ignored from the Outdate tab. They won't be scanned for outdated drivers. If you want to check for outdated drivers for these devices again, just select them and click Remove button.

Network: If you connect to Internet via Proxy, you can configure the Proxy settings to your preference with 3 choices: Directly connect (no proxy), Automatically detect proxy (use Internet Explore settings), and Specify proxy server. As for the program updates, Update automatically feature is only availabe in PRO edition.
