A S G sits within Tropicana Aman, an integrated township west of Kuala Lumpur which will become the catalyst for future developments throughout the surrounding areas. Developed by Tropicana Corporation Berhad, the proposed 1,400 acre township will become a premier address and elevate the standard of living in the district of Kuala Langat. As the project’s landscape architects, Walrus Design embraced the serenity and natural theme of this original site, creating a smooth transition into a supportive and functional, environmentally considerate design. The Tropicana Aman Sales Gallery is a model and prototype for the forthcoming, larger scale project and Walrus Design is also designing and implementing the future Tropicana Aman Central Park. The sales
gallery is a temporary building with an anticipated five to eight year lifespan. While delivering a dramatic setting for the sales gallery, the 15-acre site is also intended to recreate all central park landscape elements as they will look on eventual completion of the entire site. This will serve to portray an accurate view of what future buyers/residents can expect to experience. Setting the building behind a lake, allowed it to nestle within a natural setting filled with stunning reflective views. A footpath meanders as it rises and falls, following a barrier free route encircling the lake and connecting all landscape features. Throughout this journey, visitors may experience the bridges, park furniture, pavilions and natural riparian landscape that will feature within the parkland core of the new township.
