interior design company based in Berwick-UponTweed that specialises in complete makeovers from initial concepts to final finishes for both residential and commercial sectors. The firm has won an award for its Albero Seaside Apartments project. Located within a picturesque fishing village in the Scottish Borders, the client’s brief was to create a luxurious, well-appointed and homely space for the holiday rentals market. Renovations included replacing a large front window with a set of French doors leading to a balcony area, perfect for alfresco dining. Tastefully decorated throughout using heavily textured features, including whitewashed floor boards and panelling really lets the natural
light in to every room. A cosy wood burning stove in the lounge area tempts holiday makers to sit and relax on the comfortable sofa after a bracing walk along the nearby seafront. The kitchen has been totally transformed from a dark, cramped area into a glorious light and airy room with a space saving breakfast bar and open shelving system. Clients can take full advantage of the pretty balcony area just outside the dining room; a wonderful space to enjoy a morning coffee or a well-deserved aperitif. Beautiful bedrooms overlooking the harbour are adorned with gorgeous accessories in sandy colours that bring the beach in and offer the perfect place to relax. A stunning bathroom completes the picture with a fabulous spa bath and a large walk-in shower.
