Backpack Access Reinvented The bold statement above is direct and descriptive of the rotation180º patented technology. We are not talking about small changes like a better zipper or a lighter fabric. We are talking about enabling hikers to access essential items from inside their backpack without dropping it or breaking stride. Today’s outdoor enthusiasts carry a lot of accessories when they travel, everything from energy bars to GPS devices to sunglasses and cameras. Now with the rotation180º system they can quickly access any needed items while standing in ankle-deep mud or on the slope of a steep ascent. The MindShift rotation180º represents a truly new and innovative way to access gear. Without sacrificing comfort or function, hikers can now get to their gear and personal items with a simple one-handed action. 2

Beltpack rotated to front for access to essential gear

When people first see rotation180º in action they’re surprised by the speed and simplicity of the system. When they use it they are amazed by how easy it is and how they are free to explore and interact with their environment—no need to slow down or drop their pack. Gain instant access to: GPS, binoculars, field or travel guides, tools, test equipment, tablet, or that energy bar you’ve been saving. Grab a quick photo without stopping. Never break stride. MindShift is introducing rotation180º in several pack sizes and configurations. This includes packs for demanding technical hikers as well as casual day trekkers and travel adventurers. To truly understand the advantages of rotation180º, try a MindShift pack for yourself. 3

Magnetic Fidlock Buckle The Fidlock magnetic buckle slides open with one finger and clicks shut automatically with the help of powerful magnets. Structured Beltpack Tunnel The pack holds its shape to make rotation of the beltpack easy, even when the backpack is fully loaded.

Adjustable Tunnel Flap Stiffened tunnel flap springs open for easy rotation, and the elastic cord quickly adjusts the tension.

Beltpack Compression Straps Adjust the beltpack closer to the body to properly support differing loads.

Removable Beltpack Use the beltpack on its own when the backpack is not necessary.

Innovations rotation180º is the core design element of a MindShift pack. It can radically change how you access needed gear. The rotation180º technology means not having to set down your pack in mud, snow, wet grass or on a dusty trail. Stand in water and access your gear, no problem. No other backpack can provide rapid access to your gear as fast as a MindShift pack. Period. Our patented rotation180˚ technology brings easy and fast access to outdoor activities. The design challenge was to make the system practical, light, intuitive and once used, indispensable. After years of design refinement we perfected a system so unique, its patented. The design is so user-friendly and game-changing that we have received a Red Dot Design award and hundreds of positive reviews from industry professionals. We continue to innovate and create new packs and uses for the rotation180º system.

Two Packs in One The purchase of a backpack with rotation180Ëš technology means you are actually buying two bags. The advantages of this dual system include enabling you to hike to a destination with the comfort and support of a full technical pack. Then you can leave the main pack behind while you explore with the removable lightweight beltpack. The top of the beltpack, when rotated to the front, provides easy access or can serve as a convenient work surface.

Red Dot Award Winner

Carryology’s Carry Awards II

Gear Junkie

The 40-member expert panel for the internationally sought-after Red Dot Award, chose the rotation180º Panorama for its “high design quality” as its 2014 winner from among 4,815 entries. Only designs which impressed the jury with quality and innovative strength won an award.

Winning “Highly Commended” status, Carryology cited, “the innovation of the rotation180º Pro is obvious... We’re really excited about the platform that this design has given MindShift, and expect lots more awesome to come.” Carryology is the top global resource that explores better ways to carry things in bags, wallets, cases and luggage.

Gear Junkie, the highly respected outdoor gear review site, gave the rotation180º Professional a Top Gear of the Year Award, calling it an “outdoor photographer’s dream pack.”
