THIS WINTER WILL BRING MORE TRAGEDY TO THE LIVES OF PALESTINIAN REFUGEES Almost 100,000 refugees in the besieged Gaza Strip are facing yet another desperate winter without adequate shelter to keep them safe and warm. Only one home has been rebuilt in Gaza since the 2014 assault, and the vast majority of refugees will risk their lives in tents, shacks and even animal shelters as temperatures plummet. The winter months will be equally devastating for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon. Millions of Palestinian refugees are already living in abject poverty, and still the colder temperatures and heavy rain could destroy even more homes and lives, and endanger the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable.
That is why we are asking for your support. With your help, Interpal can provide fuel, food parcels, financial aid for shelter, warm clothes, blankets and heaters to over 5000 Palestinian families in urgent need. We will also be supporting hundreds of Syrian families displaced by the Syria crisis.
