Technology is an integral part of the learning experience in our Elementary School, supporting students in developing essential digital skills and responsible technology use Our structured programmefocusesonappropriatetechnologyusage, digitalcitizenship, andprogrammingliteracy
Students in Grades 3–6 participate in dedicated technology classes These sessions alternate betweenDigitalCitizenshiplessonsandhands-onprogramminglessons Ourgoalistoequipstudents with both the technical skills and ethical awareness needed to navigate the digital world safely and effectively
In our programming lessons, students build their coding proficiency progressively. They begin with fundamental coding concepts in Grade 3 and advance to more complex block coding challenges by Grade 6. Beyond programming, technology is integrated into classroom learning, serving as a tool to introducenewconceptsorreinforceunderstandinginsubjectssuchasMath,Literacy, andScience.
Through this approach, students not only develop essential digital literacy but also learn to use technologycreativelyandpurposefully, preparingthemfortheincreasinglydigitalworld.
