Close to 300 horses made their way to Elementa in Rome on September 25-28 making the special event one for the history books!
The $100.000-Added IRHA-NRHA-FISE Open & Non Pro Maturity presented by Elementa/QuarterDream/Arcese, open to 5-6-7-89-10-11-12-year-old horses was run in a go round and clean-slate Finals format. An important addition to the Maturity was the Youth, Prime Time, and Masters Championships, with the Youth divisions and classes recording an amazing number of riders.
With a huge 226, Nico Sicuro claimed the Maturity Open Level 4 Championship riding his partner in wins Colonels Dancing Gun (NRHA Fifteen Million Dollar Sire Gunner x Dance Little Spook), owned by Quarter Dream.
Sicuro also tied for second place honors scoring a 222.5, riding the second of his three mounts in the Finals, Sugar Little Step (NRHA Thirteen Million Dollar Sire Wimpys Little Step x Ah Sugar Sugar), also owned by Quarter Dream. In an emotional moment, the flashy and multi-awarded palomino was retired from competition.

Riding Tribbiani, a 6-year-old stallion by NRHA Thirteen Million Dollar Sire Gunnatrashya x Chicsdreamofdiamonds, owned by Maria Cecilia Fiorucci, Filippo Paris scored a 222.5 to win the Level (L)3 and L2 Open Maturity Championships as well as the L4 CoReserve Championship.
With a 221 score, Elementa’s head trainer placed second in L3 and L2 aboard Americasnextcovrgirl (NRHA Four Million Dollar Sire Walla Walla Whiz x Americasnextgunmodel) also owned by Fiorucci.

Eleonora Biasutti and Hoolygan (Hollywood Gun Dunnit x Sweet Lady Rooster), owned by Giovanni Masi De Vargas, are the 2024 Non Pro Maturity Level 1 Champions. The duo scored a 216.5 to take the win.

Winning the 2024 Non Pro Maturity Masters title was Andrea Castrucci, who rode his own KN Velvet Skeet Whiz (Hesa Mega Whiz x KN Miss Skeet Badger) to a 214.5 score.
The 2024 Non Pro Maturity Prime Time Champions are Fabrizio Magni and his own SF Boominic (Rooster Nic x Boomin Bunny). The duo scored a 211.

The $60.000-Added IRHA-NRHA-FISE Golden Circle, open to horses of all ages, ran class-in-class with the Maturity go round attracting a large number of riders, in particular from the center and south of Italy. The Golden Circle also offered the well-attended Youth and Rookie classes awarded with medals and incredible prizes offered by Elementa.

Yellow Jersey NRHa Million dollar Sire
Elementa celebrated a milestone earned by only three stallions in Europe: THE NATIONAL REINING HORSE ASSOCIATION MILLION DOLLAR SIRE landmark. Joining the elite club in July following the 100X European Derby was the ‘golden stallion’ YELLOW JERSEY, owned by Maria Cecilia Fiorucci.
Maria Cecilia shared that she is “thrilled and honored that Yellow Jersey is the first ELEMENTA-owned NRHA Million Dollar Sire but added that at Elementa all horses are cherished, whether or not they have illustrious show records. However, they are especially grateful for the remarkable success of his offspring and eagerly anticipate many more outstanding achievements.”
Yellow Jersey's accolades include the 2007 NRHA Futurity L4 Finals; the 2009 IRHA Open Derby Championship with a 231 score; the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) Team bronze; first place in the NRHA $100,000-added World Championship Open Shootout; Team gold and individual bronze in the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Yellow’s offspring with the highest earnings — $250,253.03 — is Janice Laney’s Jerseys Baby Driver (out of NRHA Million Dollar Dam Wind Her Up Chic by Smart Chic Olena - owned by our 2024 Maturity Sponsors Tim and Kim Anderson - with NRHA Million Dollar Rider Trevor Dare in the saddle.
