For professionals in education, psychology, counselling, and other areas, CEUs will be available through Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Although not equivalent to VCU undergraduate or graduate credits, CEUs are recorded on a VCU certificate and a transcript that can be obtained without charge as often as requested. CEUs are accepted by many state agencies and professional organizations as evidence of contact or clock hours toward certificate renewal.
One CEU is defined as ten (10) contact hours. It is possible to earn CEUs by attending in-person and/or on-demand conference sessions. A onetime $30 processing fee will be charged and must be paid directly via the VCU website, www.ocpe.vcu.edu.
• Attendees must indicate the need for credit through VCU during the registration process.
• Attendees must complete the electronic check-in form each morning. More details will be provided.
• Once you are finished attending sessions, you MUST return your CEU packet to conference22@dyslexiaida. org to receive your credits.
• Separate forms are required for the live presentation and the on-demand period.
