Meetings held during year and future scheduled meetings – Date(s), Location(s), Highlights:  KY: Meeting in conjunction with KDA in Louisville August 15-18 2019  MO: Joint luncheon with PFA and ACD Fellows in conjunction with the MidContinent Dental Congress in St. Louis November 10, 2019  WV: Freshman Orientation Meeting and White Coat Ceremony in Morgantown WV in August 2019 and tailgate parties at WVU baseball and football games. Recommendations for improving each Constituent/State or Component Chapter in the District: KY needs to start over with intensive help from Regent and Vice Regent in identifying likely candidates from the ranks of local constituent societies, faculty and Fellows of PFA and ACD. Also, granting scholarship to promote ICD’s brand at the student level.

Do any chapters in your district actively participate in White Coat Ceremonies? If so, please list the school and a description of how you participate:  KY in progress  Missouri (MO) Fellows do not yet provide monetary awards at ATSU Dental School. However, a $1000 scholarship in the fall and a $500 Humanitarian Award and a $500 Leadership Award in the spring are given at UMKC.  TN gives two $1000 awards to two students: one each at UT and Meharry.  WV Fellows purchase the White Coats ($100) and place a personal welcoming note in their pocket. I think this is a great idea that should be widely adopted. Information of general interest to the Members:
