DISTINGUISHED DEPUTY REGENT AWARD

The Distinguished Deputy Regent Award is sponsored and presented annually by the ICD USA Section Foundation to recognize that individual who has demonstrated, and has performed, uniquely outstanding service in his/her constituent. In 2019, the Distinguished Deputy Regent was Dr. W. Brian Powley from Paradise Valley, AZ.

The format will be the same as we have used in the past. The form must be filled out and the Regent’s District must be entered above the signature. A typed narrative should be included with the form. This descriptive summary is the best way to express your quantitative evaluation of the twelve elements on the enclosed form.

In order to avoid confusion, your submission must be for a current Deputy Regent who was active in 2019. You may have one who is brand new and one who has served for years. Select your best Deputy Regent and write him/her up. If you feel the need to write up two, do it, but the Committee would prefer to deal with just seventeen evaluations.

Submit your evaluations no later than Wednesday, April 1, 2020. This deadline is critical in order that the nominations may be processed for final selection and subsequent presentation at the Deputy Regent’s Meeting held Annual Fall Meeting. Submit your evaluations to Kylie Evans at kylie@usa-icd.org.

Please note: The Distinguished Deputy Regent Award recipient will be presented with a check for $1,000 to be used for the following continuing education event. The award will not have carry-over privileges and must be utilized at the next continuing education event. It is the goal of the ICD USA Section Foundation that this award will stimulate activities at the Section’s grass root level.
