Supply Chain Organization
The award-winning SCO is home to Procurement, Operations, and Shared Services. These groups seamlessly work together to support the organization’s value, resiliency, and growth.
Opened in 2012, the Supply Chain Center sits on 24 acres and boasts 362,000 square feet (equivalent to five football fields).
This facility uses high-tech automation to prepare thousands of supplies such as syringes, gloves, and other patient care items for distribution to over 33 hospitals and 400 clinics.

The Control Tower
The Control Tower team guides the SCO as we expand our geographical footprint and fine-tune our operations. It is a centralized management function that uses technology and data analysis to oversee and optimize channel management, supply planning, supply continuity, and implementation activities. It provides real-time visibility, predictive analytics, and collaboration tools to help make informed decisions, improve efficiency, and increase supply chain resilience.

Design, Print, & Sign
Intermountain saves over $4 million annually by in-sourcing print to the Design and Print Center and Sign Center. These enterprise-wide services produce materials at-cost for our patients and caregivers, protect our brand, and centralize spend. They also have the potential to be a valuable external revenue source.
