Rotary Club 3rd August - The Royston Kite Festival 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m on Therfield Heath, Baldock Road, Royston.
There will be kite flying in the arena for most of the day and around the arena there will be approx. 60 stands; trader stands selling everything from homemade jewellery, garden furniture to cars. There will also be charity and local voluntary organisation stands. A small funfair, catering stalls and attractions including puppets, clowns, face painting and a children’s kite making marquee run by the Royston Lions with the opportunity for the children to fly their kites in the arena towards the end of the day.
