Eat-Pray-Love A stunning fact: heart disease kills more women than men. In fact, heart disease kills more women than all of the cancers combined. Here’s the “drop-the-mic” statement. While one in every 31 women will get breast cancer, one in every three women who have heart disease will die from it. This blows me away. I’m going to make a pledge for this year. I’m including heart health content in every issue of Inspire Health. Our goal is to inspire everyone to eat better, live better and make better choices. If we can change one thing for the better, let’s do it. Don’t let yourself be the latest heart disease statistic. The funny thing is, the formula for staying young is the same for preventing heart disease. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of antioxidants and get plenty of rest and exercise.
