WHAT IS CPD ACCREDITATION?
What is CPD?
CPD stands for “Continuing Professional Development” and refers to the advancement of professional skills and expertise as you move through your career. This can include things like taking a course, attending a conference, or getting involved in a workshop.
What is CPD accreditation?
If an organisation offers CPD learning such as courses, seminars, events, or conferences, they can choose to get them CPD accredited. This means that an external accreditation body will review their CPD offering to ensure that it meets the required standards and criteria to constitute good CPD learning.
Why
is
CPD accreditation important?
Getting accredited by an external accreditation body demonstrates to learners that they will receive a learning
experience that has been fully assessed and verified. It also helps to raise the quality of CPD learning in general and set higher standards for CPD.
How to use the QR Codes onsite
All you need to do is have a look through our agenda of speakers, live demos and keynote speakers and head over to the theatres a few minutes before they begin. Once you’re in the theatre, identify where the QR code is and when the seminar is over, scan the QR code with your phone. If you’ve planned to attend a few seminars make sure you scan all the QR codes so you can claim all of the CPD sessions you’ve attended!
