A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
While we continue to face COVID-19 related challenges, 2022 will be remembered as the year that we began to emerge from the pandemic.
It was a year of growth and innovation for Inspira Health, as we implemented advanced procedures and technologies in cardiology, neurology, spinal surgery, oncology, physical therapy and more. We also saw tremendous growth of our residency program, with six new residency tracks, as we meet the needs of the health care industry both locally and at large.
We conducted a Community Health Needs Assessment, which gave us direction for our community focus points for 2023 and beyond. It reaffirmed how essential our community impact initiatives –such as Community Health Workers, mobile van screenings, and our Food Farmacy+ program – are in helping to deliver care to those who need it most.
We continued to expand services and staffing resources in our existing facilities, where we introduced more EMS locations, an endoscopy center at Vineland, a sleep center at Woolwich, a primary care location in Upper Deerfield and a LIFE center in Williamstown.
We also acquired a number of new locations to serve even more members of the South Jersey community, our biggest of which was Salem Medical Center, now an affiliate of Inspira Health. This partnership has allowed us to serve the residents of Salem County with additional health care resources and services. And we are continuing to broaden our reach as we work toward opening a new health center in Deptford and redeveloping our existing health center in Woodbury.
Through it all, patient safety was at the forefront, with our work in 2022 demonstrating the principles of high reliability day in and day out. We are creating programs around YOUR needs, and your support is making it happen.
There are still many milestones to recognize from the past year and much to look forward to in 2023. I want to thank our entire Inspira family for their professionalism, expertise, and dedication this year. I also want to thank our patients for trusting Inspira to care for you and your families.

Inspira Health Foundation Donates Former Office
Space to Build Vineland Endoscopy Suite

In October, Inspira Health hosted an open house for its new outpatient endoscopy center, located in the Medical Office Building on its Vineland campus. With the new center open, most patients requiring an outpatient upper endoscopy or colonoscopy will experience the convenience and efficiency of a true outpatient experience. Prior to its opening, these studies and treatments were performed in the hospital’s endoscopy suite.
In support of the new center, Inspira Health Foundation donated the ownership of its former office space (two full suites) to the project. This generous donation reduced the cost of the project and allowed the center to be located in the existing Medical Office Building, which is adjacent to Inspira Medical Center Vineland.
Laurie S. I cannot possibly select just one Inspira Health Care Hero, since I have had the good fortune of interacting with so many wonderful individuals here since my breast cancer diagnosis in March. The physicians, nurses, and support staff all have so much knowledge and compassion, which they continually share with me each visit. Every one of them has helped make the most difficult year of my life a little bit brighter. I researched and visited several other hospital systems after my diagnosis, and each one made me feel even more confident in choosing Inspira for my treatment. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the care you have provided me during the scariest time in my life.
