Previews 31st July

Having emerged from their sewer domain, shuriken-wielding siblings Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo set to win New York City around. With the help of reporter April O’Neill, the turtles try and integrate with human society, but are soon pulled into a deadly battle involving the eponymous mutants.

Rogen’s dry comic influence is all over the new trailer (in fact he’s billed as the perennial teenager, which says a lot about the tone).

The impressively starry voice cast includes Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, Jackie Chan as Splinter, John Cena as Rocksteady and Rogen himself as Bebop.

They’re joined by Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom, musician Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ice Cube as Superfly, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman and Hannibal Buress as Genghis Frog.
