EDITORIAL
Welcome back, everyone Is it me or time flies. We are already in our 3rd week from charismas holiday but nevertheless, hope you are having a wonderful week. In this week’s issue we have interesting articles both from Mikkeli and kouvola. Also, for last week’s issue, we had encountered some problems with the printing and that’s why you were not able find last week’s insider magazine. If you are interested in games and xamk’s library relocation information than there is an exclusive article covered for it. Also, if you are wondering what dish to try than there is delicious recipe. Let us know what you think, when you try it... For this week movie its perfect to watch it with friends so don’t forget to check out the review article and the book recommendation of this week’s as well the profile, who could be this week… And lastly but not least there is an amazing article from Suvi-Malta that we recommend that you defiantly check it out and I think you wouldn’t want to miss it. LIBRARY RELOCATION
The XAMK library which used to exist on the campus, will not be here for a while. The building that used to host all those books and computers is currently under repair works so the library was moved to the center. It can now be found right across the Subway restaurant. Although it looks bigger now, it still offers same opportunities for the XAMK students. You can borrow books, work with computers or print something if needed.

There are two problems with the library being moved. Number one is, of course, the fact itself. You can’t use 15-minutes breaks for using the library’s services anymore. If your entire group needs a book and there is only 10 of them left, the race across the campus will now become the race across half of Kouvola. Other problem is the new location. It’s a mall with shops and restaurants and, as it was mentioned early, Subway is 10 meters away. Even though the idea of grabbing a burger and cola before you work seems cool, be prepared that it’s usually quite noisy there, especially during peak hours. Oili Valtonen, the Information specialist in library, said that these measures are temporary, it will take at least one year before the library can return. The new facility, however, provides the same services and there has already been a lot of students. Oili thinks that the main reason for it is a convenient location and the fact that many students work or live not so far from the place. BOARD GAME SPACE Last week was the board game 'exhibition' designed by our students from Department of Game Design on the second floor of main lobby. These works of art were astonishing and totally handmade or self-prepared. This showcase was a part of their course. Although the event did not attract too many people, the atmosphere was cosy and full of happiness and 'stressfulness'. A list of games is attached here and the name that credits go to. PROFILE
Qianqian Xu Qianqian is one of the double degree students from Jinhua Polytechnic, China next year, and in this semester, she will finish her study in Xamk, how is her school life in Finland? How do you think of your last semester life in Finland? To be honest, a little bit depressing, because the differences between the lifestyle of China and Finland. In China where I come from is a big city, the night life is abundant, but here, everything changed. And my English is not that good so I didn’t talk too much with my colleges so I didn’t have chance to make friends, loneliness is another reason. But Finland is a really beautiful country with the great nature. It’s a wonderland for me. Will you recommend our students to go on an exchange in your school? Yes, we have everything in China, I believe young people will definitely fall in love with the life in China. Food, attractions, entertainments. Even in the mid night we have ways of spending time other than bars and clubs. Will you come to Finland to work in the future if you have a chance? No, because I am more like a homebody, I’ll stay with my family and friends. East, west, home is the best.

DOKI DOKI LITERATURE CLUB!
DISCLAIMER: 1. MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD. 2. SENSITIVE CONTENT FOR THOSE WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS.
It’s here! The second and final part of my review on Doki Doki Literature Club, which, hopefully, some of you were waiting for. To be honest, I feel like it would need more than two parts, given how the game has completely destroyed my life. But I don’t want to stretch this out either. So let’s jump into more facts and theories! As I have mentioned in the previous issue, Monika is revealed as a self-aware character after she has done messing up the whole game, where she forces you to sit in a room with her, calls you by your PC’s name, discussing careers and religions with you and even entertains you with a little jumpscare. Even after you have deleted her and the game goes on again without Monika, the supposedly dead best friend of yours – Sayori, becomes self-aware as well and you would get an extremely unsatisfying ending with basically a “no one can be happy” statement. However, as a college student who has numerous deadlines and should not be playing a game over and over again at all, I decided to play again to fulfill my ultimate goal: the GOOD ending. I read some guides online, I deleted all the game’s files and start fresh. Let me tell you, it was not an easy task. I got to save and load a bunch of times just to make sure everyone is happy. It took me a whole evening and lots of PC charging sessions and left me with two tired eyes and extreme dehydration. But good God, it was worth it. I received a thank you letter from Dan Salvato

– the developer himself which basically a heartfelt congratulation on achieving “full completion”. That’s it. That’s all I wanted to see. My life has now complete. Another very important part of Doki Doki Literature Club! that I didn’t realize while playing are the overwhelmingly clever Easter eggs throughout the game, whether it is the girls’s poem, Monika’s piano, the hidden files and pictures, etc. My jaw was on the floor after I watched a few theory videos of folks who are incredibly dedicated to the game, which are totally believable, based on the bizarreness of this game. If you are curious to know what I am talking about, go watch two long, but amazingly well-made and (a bit) spooky videos on the YouTube channel “The Game Theorists” about Doki Doki Literature Club! and perhaps embark on a journey of never-ending theories and secrets which will keep you up till 3am. All in all, an unexpectedly amazing game, which has made 2017 a way less terrible year. My one and only advice for you, if you have not played Doki Doki Literature Club! yet, go turn on your PC and download the game real quick (oh, did I mention that it’s free?) and begin playing straight away. I don’t care if it’s 4am or an exam is waiting for you tomorrow, just press play. You will not regret one bit. So yes, I had one hell of a journey with this game. I am so glad it exists. Thank you, Insider. Oh, man, what a year and a half here at XAMK and in Insider! The past semester was very different for me, as I was completing my studies remotely from Malta, as you know. It was great to shift from the in-house chef of Insider to an over-seas reporter. It was nice to have a chance to share my experiences with you guys and if you have questions -related to holidays in Malta or working or internships here - you can contact me for instance via Skype: suvikarell@ gmail.com or via Instagram: suvimariakar. I am happy to help out! When it comes to Insider, I have a lot to be thankful for. First of all, I gained a great, lifelong friend (Seti, love you to bits) and second of all, careerwise, being a part of Insider has been extremely valuable. I learned to work with WordPress (which is now a part of my everyday work basically) and having published material looks great in my CV! I strongly believe I would've not gotten the internship in Malta as a content writer without having Insider as a part of my CV. And special thanks to Hugh, you were a great support! My journey with Insider and with Xamk is now coming to its end, and this feels somewhat bittersweet. Now I am lying, I love this feeling, it is not bitter, it is just sweet! I am now free of all the school work and can move on with my life. This is much needed, since there are some big things happening for me this year - I am becoming an entrepreneur and very exciting times are a head of me! Thank you, Insider and XAMK, for these past 1,5 years – it was interesting to say the least.
Hope you guys make the most of your time in XAMK. It can truly be a life changing experience if you work hard and stay active – don't expect everything just to be handed to you. Work hard and plan big, network and be open-minded, that's my advice! My journey continues here in Malta, all the best to each and everyone of you.

FERGESE WITH PEPPERS
The dish that I am going to show you guys on how to prepare is a salty traditional Albanian dish. Me and my friend (also from Albania), cooked this particular dish for the international week and I could safely say that it was liked a lot. Above I will show you the ingredients that each of you need to have when preparing this dish and then how to actually prepare it. “Fergese” doesn’t need a lot of ingredients and it’s easily made so I don’t think anyone will have a problem understanding and then cooking it. How to make it: 1. What you wanna do first is clean up the peppers and the tomatoes really good.
Ingredients:
2. After that you will have to cut the peppers and the tomatoes into small pieces.

200gr of Cheese

3. Then you put the small pieces of pepper in the frying pan and leave them there until you feel them getting softer. 4. After the peppers are soft enough you put the small pieces of tomatoes in the frying pan together with the peppers and put some salt on it (depends on your taste). 5.As the peppers and tomatoes are frying in the pan, you can easily chop off the cheese in tiny little pieces and mash it up together with the pepper and the tomatoes which by now are fried enough. 6. After mixing all of the ingredients together it’s basically ready to go. Its recommended to eat this dish with bread. Stela Demaj

Hugh Jackman just loves to sing Hugh Jackman has been dreaming about this role since 2009. He read about three dozen books on PT Barnum, according to iMDb, in order to prepare for the role, and it finally happened. The Greatest Showman was introduced to us by Michael Gracey and XX Century Fox. The movie is based on real events and tells us a story about one of the most successful businessmen, Phineas Taylor Barnum. As a matter of fact, the guy invented show business as a term, as he claims in the movie. PT Barnum puts together freak show that rapidly becomes one of the most successful circus performances the world has ever seen. He gives a chance to outcasts, such as a dwarf, woman with beard, etc, to find their place in life. The movie is a musical and Hugh Jackman never hesitates to remind us that he used to be a Broadway musical star and well, the man never ceases to amaze the audience with his singing skills. Supporting cast is also great, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and others also sing, dance which corresponds really well with the circus performances and feels almost real, considering the weird nature of musical movies where actors, in the middle of a dialog, just start singing and dancing all of a sudden. All in all, this musical may be considered as a success. The only disadvantage is perhaps the love story which exists there just because it has to. Musical fans as well as those who love Hugh Jackman are more than welcome to see the movie. Nikita Munenko

BOOK REVIEW "When you see me face-to-face. I’ll reveal the empty space." - Edmond Kirsch, Origin The origin was authored by Dan brown and it’s the 5th book of the Robert Langdon series. The writer is also known for his famous novel The Da Vinci Code. The origin was published in October 2017 and the genre of the novel is thriller, mystery, crime fiction and science. Before we start reviewing the novel little info about the book. So, the books theme is codes, religion, science, art, key, architecture and history. The main character of the book Robert Langdon is Harvard professor of religion icon and symbologist. who uncovers the religion conspiracy in the world by discovery. So, The origin deals with the conflict between religion and science. A futurist billionaire Edmond kirsch is computer scientist and his character in this novel is someone who creates edgy invention technologies and a new atheist. Robert Logan was invited to a presentation that was held in Guggenheim, Spain. In this event Edmond was going to reveal a discovery that will shatter all world religions. As professor of religion and symbologist Robert started to wonder what the discovery could be, but Edmond assured him that it will address the two most important questions where we came from? and where are going to? Although Robert was intrigued by Edmond and Winston an artificial computer intelligence and couldn’t wait for the presentation but unfortunately, an unfortunate event had occurred were Edmond was assassinated minutes before the presentation was held. Nevertheless, Robert figures out that there’s a backup copy of his former student Edmonds presentation. So, to make the presentation a live and to give the message out to the world. Robert teams up with Ambra Vidal to solve the mystery and to find a code for Edmonds computer and lastly the reason who and why Edmond was assassinated. The book doesn’t only involve Robert, Edmond and Ambra Vidal but there are also other characters that are involved religion figures, Spanish monarchies,
etc. Also, some of the incidents occur at the same time and as you might have figure out by know the story takes places in Spain so there are historical references. Personally, it was easy to read but I lost track couple of times, which took me more time to read compare to the other books I have read. Also, the novel describes more of Spain’s architects and places such as cathedral, museums and less about solving the mystery.
