EDITORIAL Winter is coming... Who would have ever assumed that Kouvola is boring city, when every time citizens of this town look out of their windows – they are seeing different picture? Today it might be “hiding under the umbrella day” and tomorrow people’s faces will be covered with woollen scarfs from snowflakes. No matter what weather disaster you are experiencing today – “Insider” is infinite. There can be nothing better than fascinating reading while drinking coffee from the paper cup in the library or keeping yourself busy during long Finnish evenings (hey, is that 5 a.m. or p.m.?!) In this issue everyone will find something entertaining according its taste.
Also be ready for one more intriguing student’s story. What a chance to find new connections or friends right within University doors! Do not struggle to much while choosing a perfect film to watch with your partner. Nikita has reviewed one of the most expected films of this month “Terminator”. «I’ll be back» - Arnold Schwarzenegger (as it was promised) For all pizza lovers (oh that poor student life) Claudia has shared secret Italian recipe of one of the classics - Pizza Margherita. EVENT FIND A JOB Last week on Thursday, there was an event held in Paja. As usual, The Insider was eavesdropping. For us to get started, we would like to thank our research and development department to give this opportunity. The concept of the event is to bring companies in one place and let them meet students. For us, students, this is a chance to look at our chances for future. And for companies, the same thing, they are looking for their chances for future. There was many companies participating and we had a chance to talk with all of them. The best thing about the companies, in our opinion, was that they knew why there were they and what they were looking for. They were not just there to show themselves. They had specific qualities on the person they were looking for. And they had all the information with them. For example, VR, the

train company was looking for qualified students to look upon their international operations. As the lady said, ‘they operates mostly in Baltic region and their business is growing by day. They will series need more employees in "Fragments"future and it is goodofto paintings know what kind of people are going to be there for them. She also mentioned that the students should apply for their internship there.

IN PAJA
Another company to mention would be Wickholm Talotekniikka. It is a building company that operates in Finland and considering to go international soon. They are also looking for international students with language skills of course. We didn’t get specific information about where are they going to go international but they are obviously willing to employee people for their international operations. Our International Business students should pay attention.
With all these, all students should keep in mind that there is a lot of things going on around our school to find a path for our after school life. It is a funny way to do such a serious thing. Remember, you must be out there to get more possibilities of your studies. And you have be actively seeking for it.
Attendo, a healthcare services company was there with lovely ladies telling us about their possibilities, looking for Finnish students more than international. They are taking care of sick or old people and looking to recruit. Remember, helping is good.
"For us, students, this is a chance to look at our chances for future." They was more companies of course but, there was also XAMK working in there looking to promote our school to our students. We have some possibilities to work or get internship at XAMK.

INTERVIEW Ice and life Continuing to keep a sports column in our magazine. I managed to communicate with number 15 midfielder Olli Valtteri Korhonen of team KooKoo (born 15.06.1998 in Anjalankoski) Olli began his sports career in Inkeroinen (Kouvola district) at club Aakoo. His first coach was an Estonian coach - Nikolai Kuhharuk. What is word “hockey” associated with… Passion, love, teamwork, fun, lifestyle Olli, please tell me why you started playing hockey? How did it all start? At first we played street hockey with my big brother and when he started skating and playing hockey I also wanted to do that so little bit later I started playing hockey as well and here we are.
Do you have the most rememberable history related to hockey? Playing first game in Liiga and scoring the first goal in Liiga are the ones I really remember most likely rest of my life. Do parents support you? If yes, how? Yes, they do and I'm really grateful of all the support I have gotten from them, it’s incredible how much they have sacrificed so that I can play hockey. They’re still very active supporters and watch my games always they can. At which position did you play (forward, defender) in the beginning of a career and do you play in it now? I tried every position but mainly I played as a
How old were you when you start and how old are you already playing? I was 5 years old, so about 16 years. Was an idol (hockey star) (hockey player) in childhood? Do you have same now or not? I have had plenty of idols to look up but Alex Ovechkin is the one I really looked up when I was younger and even today he’s my favorite player. I have to say also my brother because he was the one I looked up as a younger and learned a lot of things from him. What was the most difficult thing when you come and start play hockey? Obviously all the basic skills like shooting, skating ans passing were difficult at start but as a young child you learn things fast so those were not really a problem once you learned the basics. Describe yourself in 3 words? Hard worker, learner, reliable. 6

How do you tune up to the match, you (team) (music etc.)? I do good warm up always so my body is ready, then I listen to music and do some visualization to get my mind focused for the game. So I have same rituals before every game so it helps to get into gameday mood.
What did you dreamed about when you only begin to play hockey? I dreamed about playing in NHL (Washington Capitals) and of course also playing for Finland was my dream and it still is.
Are you a superstitious man with regards to Do you have a happy number? Which? Why it hockey? is happy? I used to be but not anymore because I think I’m Number 15 is my special number. It is my first in control of myself. So if I break my rituals it won’t number in juniors and also my brother played with mean that I’ll play bad just because of that. that number too, also it is my birthday day. STUDENTSTORY Meet Jatta Jämsen Hi! I study Digital Business, I speak finish, English and a bit of Swedish. I love plants, I have like 30 different flowers in my appartment and I like to travel a lot. I was born in Vantaa. We moved to Kouvola when I was 7 years old and since then I have been living here. My parents moved here to get out of Vantaa and into the countryside. The forests around here are beautiful. Growing up I enjoyed a lot running around and playing. I played Finnish baseball for 10 years while growing up. It's a bit different to American baseball. Now I'm busy studying and working on my thesis. At XAMK, I am studying to become a Bachelor of Business Administration and I am specialising in Digital Business, since I believe that we live in a digital era. During the first year its more general studies and I did a few courses only cause it was necessary, but later on I enjoyed preparing myself for Digital Business. Now I consider myself a professional when it comes to digital business. During the studies, I did a lot of activities like being a tutor and a member chairperson, social media manager and then its 20 regular members that helps us with organizing of Kakko Representative Team. meetings, decorating and selling tickets, etc. Later on I felt confident to become chairperson of To me, this is like doing real business and real Student Association Kupla RY. RECIPE Pizza Margherita It’s the weekend and you didn’t remember to buy your frozen pizza from the store? Then, it’s time to “get your hands dirty” and cook an amazing pizza in the real Italian style! This is a very simple and basic recipe for all the pizza lovers. But don’t limit yourself, add as many toppings as you like!
Ingredients: For the dough: • 250 gr flour • 1 teaspoons of dried yeast • 1 pinch of salt • 150 ml water Toppings: • Tomato sauce • Mozzarella • Basil
Put the flour and the salt in a bowl and mix them. Warm up the water but be careful to not make it hot or the dough will not rise! Add the yeast to the water and mix it until it’s dissolved. Then, add it in the bowl and mix everything together with a fork. Use your hands and some extra flour to mix the ingredients together until the dough will not be wet anymore, but just a little sticky to the touch. Put the dough in a bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel and let it sit for at least a couple of hours. When the dough has risen, we are ready to add the toppings! Make the dough flat, spread tomato sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella and put it in the oven 200° for 10-15 minutes. Add fresh basil and your Pizza Margherita is ready to eat! Buon appetito! The director of the 6th part of Terminator is Tim Miller. Now, nobody hates Tim, yes? His Deadpool and Deadpool 2 were huge hits and he combined comic book movies with R-rating pretty nicely. And he should have stayed there. Dialogues in Deadpools were on point. Dialogues in Terminator suck. What sucks more is the “new John Connor” – Natalia Reyes. Oh my god, not with girl powers again, please. At least if you do it, make sure it’s done well! This example is awful, you don’t simply care about that Mexican woman. YOU. DO. NOT. CARE. Hamilton and Schwarzenegger are back, wohoo! Wait a second… What are they doing here? It’s like their characters not needed at all. Their characters are written so poorly (you’d think what is there to write? We had first two films that did an amazing job on it) that they either don’t make you go drop tears of nostalgia, no. They don’t do shit! Either that, or worse – they make all the madness that goes on on the screen become even madder. It’s not like that annoy you, but they do! The plot is just… flat. You again do not care. It doesn’t make you worry or anything. It’s like the plot is absent. There is no old Terminator “end-of-the-worlddanger”, or at least you don’t feel it. This movie fucking sucks! Minus one star for dialogues. Minus two stars for the plot. Minus one star for Natalia Reyes. Minus one star for Linda Hamilton and Arnold whose characters got so screwed up, it’s not even funny. Plus half a star for visuals, sometimes explosions are cool. BUT IT IS NOT TERMINATOR, IT IS SHIT!
