Day 1 Antananarivo

Pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel for an overnight on bed and breakfast.

Day 2 & 3 Antsirabe and Ibity Mount

Drive to Antsirabe on the first day, then proceed with a botanic’s hike in the Ibity Mount. (B-L-D) Botanical Inf : Aloes (capitata, laeta, trachyticola), Groundsel (S. quartziticola, S. caniculoides) Kalanchoe integrifolia, Pachypodium brevica

Day 4 & 5 Ambositra and Ambatofinandrahana

Drive to Ambositra and Ambatofinandrahana (Basic hotel). Botanic’s research in the Itremo region. Day 6 Ambalavao - Ranohira

Day 10, 11 & 12 Anakao, Ambola and Tsimanampetsotsa national park

Boat to Anakao and visit Tsimanampetsotsa Lake NP. (B-L-D) Botanical Info Tsimanampetsotsa : Achyrocalyx gossypinus, Anisotes divaricatus, Ecbolium humbertii, Hypoestes cinerascens, Secamone pedicellaris, Helichrysum mahafaly, Alluaudia montagnacii, Delonix edulis, Calodecaryia pauciflora, Ficus humbertii, Talinella microphylla.

Day 13 Anakao - Tulear - Tana

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel for Tulear from where you will take a domestic flight to the capital. Reception at the airport and assistance for your outbound flight. (B) NB - the program for this day will depend on the domestic flight schedule.
