Thursday 24 October Marple Exploring The Arts George Eccleston will present a lecture entitled ‘Robert Burns: His Life and Loves’. He will look at aspects of the well-loved poet’s life through the eyes of the women with whom he was associated. Many of his greatest poems and love songs were inspired by women and short extracts of these will be illustrated in the talk. Visitors very welcome: £5 on the door including refreshments.
