Eden Gardens Country Club
Eden Gardens Eden Gardens Country Club is one of Sapphire Coast’s real hidden gems and has been described as the Augusta National of the Far South Coast. This John Spencerdesigned golf course will challenge your golf while you enjoy beautiful surroundings. There is a fully-stocked Proshop, cart and electric buggy hire and great green fee, corporate and group packages. Men have the option of two courses: The Blue Course (Par-71, 5734m, Slope 129) and the White Course (5474m, slope 122). The ladies red course measures 5277m, slope 130. Social play is available every day. There are several competition days including a Medley Stableford competition every Tuesday, Ladies day every Wednesday and Men and Ladies on Saturday morning. Flinders Golf Club The lovely and picturesque Flinders Golf Club is an 18-hole seaside beauty built along an amazing stretch of land overlooking Bass Strait. Though it may seem a bit detached from the other wellknown Mornington Peninsula courses near Melbourne, in reality it’s only 15 minutes away from the Cape Schanck area, so it is well within reach for a corporate golf event. Too often, corporate golf days are not as enjoyable as they should be because
the course is too difficult and the round takes 5 hours to complete. At Flinders, with Bass Strait views from every hole, and a well-manicured layout, it’s impossible not to enjoy your day away from the office. A BBQ on the deck with a cold drink in hand, is the perfect way for you and your guests to end a memorable golf day. Starting at $59 per person, it’s a golfing experience that’s hard to beat. Flinders is arguably one of the more underrated courses on the Peninsula. While it isn’t long by any stretch, it still has plenty of bite. A handful of the par4’s are easily drivable, yet if you are even slightly off-line you can forget about par, as you’ll be contending with deep bunkers, tall trees and any number of ball-grabbing shrubs or hazards. The par-4 fourth, the club’s signature hole, is a short but spectacular hole named The Coffin. Originally a par3, it was redesigned into a par-4 by Dr Alister Mackenzie, who moved the green back and behind the “Purgatory
Flinders Golf Club Ravine”, thus transforming it into one of the most memorable holes on the Mornington Peninsula. In truth, all the holes on the course are special. Each with its own unique ocean view, character and challenge. But the real test at Flinders is on and around the splendid greens – which are always in fantastic condition. Ultra slick, deceptive, undulating and creatively contoured, these greens roll extremely true, yet the breaks and pace can be almost impossible to read correctly. Thus, your approach shots have added importance at Flinders. Overall, Flinders is a fantastic, fun and challenging course. And the members and staff are all top-notch, friendly and welcoming. Perfect for corporate groups, Flinders is a great venue that doesn’t disappoint.

Club Mandalay Club Mandalay is fast becoming the goto destination for all golfers looking for something special when booking their next round of golf, and the latest addition to the Thomson Perrett portfolio certainly offers that. Situated in the heart of Mandalay Estate
in the new suburb of Beveridge, just off the Hume Highway and only a 30-minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD, the par-72 course measures 6,285m and is already ranked in the top 60 golf courses in Australia. The course offers spectacular vistas, superb playing surfaces and an intriguing design. The par-3s are challenging but spectacular at Mandalay. Especially the 173m 11th, which features a large dam on the right and hitting to an undulating green which is surrounded by bunkers.
