WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
The festival will highlight media stories to raise awareness and drive change� Audiences will be inspired to act, protect their own wellbeing and safeguard the environment for future generations�
THE FESTIVAL AIMS TO
• Promote Worthing as a creative hub, delivering quality, varied programming and attracting local and national audiences and artists to attend and participate�
• Promote the work of local organisations and charities working in the field�
• Inspire changes in individual behaviour in terms of practical ways for everyone to protect the environment�
• Encourage audiences to value their own self-care and wellbeing�

We hope to attract residents from across Sussex to attend our events, with a strong focus on children and young people as future change-makers� We are inviting local residents of West Sussex to take part in the short film competition and will open it out to UK/ International submissions through setting the Film Festival on FilmFreeway� Other films included in the festival will be programmed based on quality, relevance, availability and desire to be involved�
