Lean Manufacturing Institute This institute addresses issues related to other business functions such as supply chain logistics, technology management, human resources, design and contracting. Applied Research Center An interdisciplinary team of researchers at the center work on scientific and technological problems in the areas of thin films, laser and plasma applications, materials technology, and the emerging fields of nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, sensor science and technology, and MEMS.
