50 YEARS OF TENCO 50 years have now gone by since Luigi Tenco passed away; one of the most loved songwriters of his time and nowadays one of the pillars of Italian music. It was 1967, when paired with Dalida he sang “Ciao Amore Ciao” at the Festival of Sanremo, a song which then became a mainstay of Italian music. Sanremo has never forgotten Luigi Tenco, considered by many to be a pioneer in songwriter music. A man and an artist with great talent combined with a courage for experimenting which
was uncommon for the time. In order to pay him a tribute, Massimo Bonelli, the organiser of the 1st May Concert in Piazza San Giovanni in Roma, and a collaborator of events such as Area Sanremo and Premio De Andrè, after speaking to the Club Tenco, decided to set up an event-night dedicated to the songwriter. Thanks to the skills of the Maestros of the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra and of Maestro Mauro Ottolini, who jointly re-arranged 22 of Tenco’s songs, the audience at the Ariston Theatre was able to enjoy a magical evening to
conclude the celebrations for the 40 years of the Club dedicated to him. There were 11 artists, all born after 1967, who reinterpreted Tenco’s songs, creating a truly magical experience. Among them singers such as Noemi, Roi Paci, Morgan and Marina Rei. An unforgettable evening which touched the Ariston audience and the songwriter’s family, sitting in the first row, and which will be transmitted by RAI television on the evening of the 27th January, precisely 50 years after his death.

50 ЛЕТ СО ДНЯ СМЕРТИ ТЕНКО Прошло уже 50 лет со дня смерти Луиджи Тенко, одного из самых любимых певцов своего времени, который и сегодня остается звездой итальянской музыки. Шел 1967 год, когда на Фестивале в Сан-Ремо он исполнил вместе с Далидой песню “Ciao amore Ciao”, ставшую впоследствии одной из самых знаменитых и любимых итальянских песен. Сан-Ремо никогда не забывал Луиджи Тенко, считая его абсолютным пионером авторской песни. Человек и исполнитель с огромными способностями, которые объединили желание и смелость экспериментировать в новом для той эпохи направлении. Для того, чтобы воздать ему должное, Массимо Бонелли, организатор Первомайского рок-концерта на площади Сан Джованни в Риме, а также соавтор площадки “Area Sanremo” и “Premio De Andrè”, поговорив с членами “Клуба Тенко”, решил устроить вечер в честь певца. Благодаря мастерству музыкантов Симфонического оркестра Сан-Ремо и маэстро Мауро Оттолини, которые вместе заново аранжировали 22 песни Тенко, в Театре “Аристон” состоялся великолепный вечер в заключение празднований 40-летия посвященного ему “Клуба Тенко”. 11 певцов, все родившиеся после 1967 года, интерпретировали песни Тенко, создавая особую, совершенно магическую атмосферу в зале. Среди исполнителей вечера были Ноэми, Рой Пачи, Морган и Марина Рей. Незабываемый вечер, увлекший весь Театр “Аристон”, в том числе семью Тенко, которая сидела в первом ряду, будет транслироваться по телевидению RAI вечером 27 января как раз спустя 50 лет после его кончины.
