Maximising consumers' energy efficiency while streamlining the energy flexibility of the grid THE NEED. Renewable energy sources produce variable energy that depend on weather conditions. High renewable quotas are mandatory in EU policies. Flexibility in demand is essential to keep electricity systems in balance with high renewable shares. THE SOLUTION. Sploder monitors distributed energy resources, weather conditions, building performance, energy markets and customers’ load behaviour. Using several self-learning algorithms, it optimises the energy infrastructure of the end user to obtain the most from energy markets (wholesale, ancillary services markets and local markets). The platform then sends commands to the IoT devices or any other platform to apply the result of the optimisation.
